Virtual Reality and Smallpox on the PlayStation 4
Strictly 12+ only (manufacturer’s requirements)

A chance to participate in a PlayStation VR research project developed by Hallam’s Steel Minions Game Studio, with Dr. Jake Habgood, Senior Lecturer in Game Development at Sheffield Hallam University.
Discover the gruesome background to this historical research project about the history of vaccination, and the devastation that the Smallpox virus wreaked on the rich and poor alike in the 18th century. Take part in a real research study into virtual reality locomotion techniques in the PlayStation 4 lab.

Note: A maximum of 7 places on each session may be booked by any one school. Signed parental consent forms are required for this workshop.
